A lecture series was organized on " Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika" on 30-08-2025 by Damdama College. Miss Debajani Gogoi, Assistant Professor Department of Political Science, Miss Dimpi Das, Assistant Professor, Department of Assamese and Dr. Gitamoni Deka, Assistant Professor, Department of Education Delivered lectures on Dr. Bhupen hazarika's various contributions towards the society. This program involved discussion on Dr Hazarika's cultural journey through his songs and his thoughts on political ideology ,harmony, unity and fraternity etc. At the program Dr. Suranjan Sarma ,Principal, Damdama College, Babul Das, President of Damdama Sahitya Sabha ,all the faculties, employees and the students were present.
