On 6th September 2024, freshmen Social were organized by the college. On this occasion esteemed Dipak Sarma, senior advocate and renowned journalist was invited as a guest of honor who delivered an interesting motivational speech for the students. Himangshu Patowary, student of B.A 3rd semester, Damdama College was felicitated for winning gold and bronze medal in All India Karate Champion held in Haryana and Puja Devi, B.A 6th Semester, 2024 was felicitated for securing highest CGPA in the college amongst the students with the price amount of Rs, 10,000 by Dr. Sabitri Saikia, Retired Associate Professor, Assamese Department, Damdama College.
