On 9th August 2024 the college celebrated its 46th foundation day in the college campus by hoisting the flag of Damdama College by the Principal, Dr. Suranjan Sarma. Mrs. Pratibha Deka, HoD of English Department inaugurated the programme by the lighting of diyas in the honor of college. The College Anthem which was sung by the faculties and students, followed by insightful lecture by Mr. Amitabh Chakraborty on the topic "Rog aru Ahom Yug" and modern songs sung by the faculties and students of the college.
