On 5th June 2024, World Environment Day was observed by Damdama College, Central Library and NSS Unit. The program was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Principal Damdama College with his enlightening speech on environment. The chief guest of the program was Mr. Tridip Bharali, Assistant Professor, Political Science, Hari- Gayatri College, Azara where he delivered insightful speech on environment. All the faculties and students of Damdama College were present in the program. Plantation drive, Awareness programme on the theme, Say No to Plastic Bags & Save Environment for Sustainability, Art competition, Dance Competition, cleanliness drive was conducted on the occasion of World Environment Day by Damdama College.
