ICCSSR Sponsored International Seminar
Date: 29th and 30th December, 2023
ICCSSR Sponsored International Seminar on Programming futures through Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was organized on 29th and 30th December 2023, organized by Research Cell in Collaboration with IQAC, Damdama College. The Program was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Principal (Damdama College) by lamp lightening followed by his Keynote address. Dr. Rituparna Bhattacharyya (SFHEA), Adjunct Professor, IIT, Guwahati, Research Consultant, Editor-in-chief (Joint), Space and Culture, India, Senior Fellow, Advance HE, UK., Prof. Madhurjya Prasad Bezbaruah, Department of Economics, Guwahati University and Dr. Yasmin Saikia, Professor, History, SHPRS, Arizona State University, Tempe, USA was invited as Speaker of the seminar. Resource person for the seminar were- Prof. Utpal Kr. De (NEHU), Prof. Sukanya Sarma (IIT, Guwahati), Prof. Joydeep Baruah (KKHSOU, Assam), Dr. Saswati Choudhury (Omeo Kumar Das Institute of Social Change and Development), Prof. Nissar A. Baruah (GU), Dipanjali Gogoi (AEI, Guwahati), Prof. Akhil Ranjan Dutta (GU), Prof. Dulumoni Goswami (GU), Prof. Partha Pratim Baruah (GU) and Dr. Pori Hiloidari (Handique Girls College). The convener and editor of the seminar was Dr. Nazneen Ara Haque (Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Damdama College). It was a two-day seminar and total 259 participants presented their paper through offline and online mode form various colleges, central/ state universities. Seminar was concluded by valedictory session and distribution of certificates by the Hon'ble Principal Damdama College.
