The Department of Political Science was established in the year 1978. Presently the department has 50 seats for honours course and BA General course. The department of Political Science conducts classes according to the syllabus provided by Gauhati University. Students in the department are encouraged to pursue higher studies to enhance their knowledge and compete in various national and state level Competitive Exams.
