Important Information

Registration is compulsory for all students. They are to submit prescribed forms for registration immediately after admission under AHSEC and Gauhati University respectively. Students coming from Board or University other than SEBA, AHSEC or GU shall have to produce migration certificate at the time of admission

It is compulsory for every student to attend classes regularly. Absence from classes without citing any adequate cause will be viewed seriously and considered a breach of discipline. Each student is required to attend a minimum of 75% of the total lectures delivered, failing which a student will be considered as non-collegiate and he/she will have to pay a fine. In case of Non-Collegiate students, the benefits of scholarship shall be forfeited.

The College follows the academic regulations prescribed by the AHSEC and GU being in force from time to time in respect of concerned courses.

There is an Examination Board of the College to facilitate the smooth functioning of the college examinations and evaluations. Besides the examinations conducted by the A.H.S.E.C and G.U, the college also conducts Test Examinations, Mid-Term Examination, Unit Tests etc. There is also a provision for Sessional examinations in all subjects which are independently conducted by the respective departments.

All students must appear in the Unit Tests, Sessional examinations and finish their assignments/projects. Performance of the students in these examinations will determine marks of the internal assessment at the end of semester/year.

D) Semester Break :      July 1st – July 31st

Note: The exact date of the Sessional examination shall be fixed by the concerned departments of the college and that of the final semester examination by GU. The Controller of Examinations would announce the result of the final examinations.  Admissions will be given by following university rules.

Course Fee Structue

At the time of admission, a student has to pay the following amount which includes admission fee, tuition fee for 12 months and other session fees etc. Tuition fees for Girl Students of H.S classes shall be free.
