Sufficient numbers of class rooms of varying sizes are available for the smooth functioning of different classes in the college.
One laboratory for the department of Education with sufficient space and all the necessary equipments are available in the college.
Damdama College has a central library and a reading room. It remains open from 9 am to 4 pm. Students and teachers may borrow books from the library against Library Card. Books can be photocopied in the library itself. The central library has a collection of 14, 500 books and a good number of reputed journals. The library also subscribes to newspapers. The College has one museum in the department of History, which boasts of a rich collection of artifacts and different cultural items of high value. The basic objective is to highlight the rich ethno-cultural heritage of Assam in particular and of the North East in general.
A canteen for students, teachers & non-teaching staff is available in the college and remains open during working hours.
Damdama College possesses one overhead projector, three LCD projectors, laptops etc, which are used for teaching-learning purposes, seminars and conferences.
The college has an internet facility in most of the departments including the library and the college office. Besides, wi-fi facility is available for all in the college campus.
STUDY TOURS, EXCURSIONS AND FIELD TRIPS
Facilities for Study Tours, Excursions and Field Trips are available for the students of our college, if funds are available. Field trip is compulsory for students in the Environmental Studies and Education.
Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC are awarded scholarships as per Govt. rules. This includes merit scholarships also.
There is provision for free admissions to the economically backward section of students. This is as per Govt. norms.
REMEDIAL COACHING FOR SC/ST & MINORITY COMMUNITY STUDENTS
The college provides remedial courses for the benefit of educationally disadvantaged students belonging to the SC/ST category of TDC classes, particularly the unsuccessful ones. However, the facility to students depends upon the availability of UGC sponsored schemes.
UGC NETWORK RESOURCE CENTER
The UGC Network resource center of the college has rendered tremendous service by providing all necessary information to the students and employees through internet. It also arranges computer education programmes batch by batch.
ENTRY INTO OTHER SERVICES
Special coaching classes are offered to students and employees and local youths (subject to availability of grants) for entry into services like Banking, Civil Services etc.

Damdama College possesses a Generator that provides electricity during the time of power cut, so that essential teaching- learning and official work can go on without interruption.
